I used to pay $5.00 for a 50 lb. bag when I first started with chickens 6 years ago.

Rural Maine: yesterday I paid 10 bucks for a 25 lb bag of Blue Seal Game Bird Crumbles (22% protein). Not positive, but I think the 50lb bag was $17-something.

We are currently using Purina Layena Pellets and Pay around 14.50 per 50 pound bag.....

Folks using Organic feeds are paying much more than us that use standard feeds as well....

Allison Finch in NE Wa, $17 + a 50 lb bag, I am looking for other, has to be, or mix my own which I would almost prefer.

I am going shopping this morn and see what else is available and possible.

Mine appears to have gone up in price since the last bag I got a couple weeks ago. It *was* about $12, now according to TSC's website, the Dumor layer pellets I use are $14.79/50 pounds (the Purina stuff is 1 to 2 dollars more).
