I like the dark blue lacing. I am watching these two close to see how they continue to feather out.

Those are not true buffs. Those are produced by my big flaming red orpington rooster. They will be bred back to him for color in about 5 months.

We got us some dark brown orp genes going on.

Do you realize how much orp envy you are causing with these threads.

I'm really liking the brown/red looking orps.

I am sorry. I have worked so hard to get to this point this year. I have put all of energy and most of my money into developing my stock for breeding and raising a flock of pure orps in a range of colors.

They are beautiful Miss P!! We went to the fair this week (twice!) and I was in awe of the blue orps. My friend bought a hen and I am so envious!!!! Told him he should bring her over to visit my buff roo and see what we get.

I'm sure the pics don't do them justice - they are gorgeous birds!!! Congrats on such beauties!!

Get those BLRW to cranking out eggs, Katy!

Cindy, you should have bought it first. LOL You never know what you will get when you cross those different colors

I was going to work on the coop today since I don't have the baby today....of course I woke up to unforecast rain!!!! Hopefully it'll get out of here by this afternoon. Hubby was going to bale hay so he's even more upset!!
