If you want people to answer ANY of your posts, that's not a good way to act!

Sorry you felt neglected. But this is not an 'emergency, I want answers NOW' forum. Post the problem and only hope that someone that is on will know the answer and respond. And like Nifty said, use the search while waiting for a hopeful response. Or call your vet. These people here on this forum are awesome but have other lives too. I know it seems when there is an emergency everyone is out to lunch. Be patient.

100% of cases where there isn't a quick reply, or no reply at all fall into one of these categories:

1) Nobody knows the answer
2) Not enough detail to answer the question
3) Poor title / subject or put in wrong section
4) The question is already asked tons of times on the site and/or forum and the members who happen to be online when the question was posted just aren't in the mood to answer it again.

Addressing some or hopefully all the issues above almost always results in replies to a question.

I often help where I can as do many members on this forum but that all depends on if we are online or even on the forums during the day or night. It is threads like this make me not want to help at all because I feel I am taken for granted and other people can't take the time to search out information and want me to spoon feed them.

No one is paid to answer questions on this forum. Infact some advice given could be completely misconstrued and those people could be held liable for practicing veterinary medicine without a license.

There is hardly any question about incubating, hatching, brooding or dealing with chickens that has not been answered on this forum at least a dozen or more times.

There are very knowledable members of this forum who make mental notes of people who often find themselves in a 'snit' and will never offer help or advice due to that.
