It does not say "food grade", but they told me at the grain store that it was. It was all they had. I have never used DE before, and I am a bit nervous. Is this the right kind?

Ingredients say:

Diatomacious Earth
Calcium Bentonite
Calcium Minimum 1%
Calcium Maximum 2%
Moisture Maximum 8&
Ash(mineral matter) maximum 95%

yellow sticker says Grandular

My agway people told me that this was food grade and it was the same as the white food grade they had in smaller bags except this one has "volcanic ash" added into it as an anti clumping agent..

I beleived them and have been using it.

It does not say "food grade" but the first few words are "for use in feed".
That would mean that it is "food grade". IMO I would use it in a heartbeat.

Where did you find that... maybe I can find it around here!

There are pictures of animals on the bag, so it must be safe for animals - that would be it's advertised purpose. I just want someone to answer my post if I'm gonna die of lung abrasion.
