They do, you never know what they are going to have.

This stupid rain! I only get my son home on the weekends, and it's just too yucky to get him out and I can't leave him alone. I wanted so bad to go to the chicken show. So those of you who were able to go, please tell me all about what I've missed!

I'm going to Malvern tomorrow to pick up some cuckoo Maran eggs I hope. I've given up on BCM's and will step down to the Cuckoos so I can start raising a flock of those beautiful chocolate egg layers.

We were supposed to start working on our new coop and runs today.

they were also our big pets -- Stupid dogs. I am glad that I hadn't let my cochins out for the day. I can GUARANTEE I will be waiting with the shotgun for whatever dog decides to come back.

Oh no! I'm so sorry Amanda.

You lost your dd's lab too and that probably had a lot to do with keeping the strays at bay. Your big, beautiful turkeys?!

Can't wait for someone to respond how it was.

The show was okay. The one in El Dorado last fall was bigger and better. That said, I did enjoy seeing the chickens and two of my BYC buddies. We left pretty soon because of the rain. The chickens were in a barn and pigeons kept flying over giving them all heart failure.

So sorry Amanda. I just posted on the other thread. I wish I had a duck for your daughter. I'm glad you have eggs/babies from most of your birds. Are you going to try to find some more Muscovies?

You know, we live on the side of a mountain. I'd never have guessed we could be flooded!
