You can bring anything for swapping, as long as it is in a cage or trailer. We aren't picky

You should also bring a tarp or other type of cover for the table or ground, if you plan on bringing birds. Also, please be sure that your birds are healthy. Most all of mine free-range right now, and I don't want my babies to get sick

Hi I be there and I could round up a few people.I think it would be a blast,I wish I could've been there Sat But I had to work .Yea we Could have one and have a show, a trade and sell area And a Potluck dinner we all should get to gether here in ky. Let me now. If you want to do it and need help planing it let me know.I might now of a few places we could have it

Okay Shelley we have the interest... Now we need the place. Does everyone have easy ups in case there isn't much shade where it's held? That would really be handy...Doesn't have to be fancy ones, some pvc pipes and tarps would work even(can you tell we've had to do those before? hehe). We are really easy to find but our parking is extremely limited and poor, otherwise I would offer the place... Plus we don't have accommodations for a livestock if someone was trading larger than poultry, other than tying them to the old back fenceposts.
I think Fall or Spring would be a good time when it isn't so hot but not too cold either. Less rain in Fall. We could bring food with us and maybe donate a couple bags of feed/scratch for a giveaway, maybe some other accessories.

I have 1 (4 y/o boy), cthrash1 has an 11 (?) y/o boy and a college-aged girl, and other than that, idk.

So now all we need is to find a place

I'll ask my dad, but I'm sure it will be a big fat NO!!! But I do have a small (10x10) dining canopy, so that's a start anyway. I'll check around and see what I can find, but anyone else is welcome to as well.

Oh yeah, and ladrifter (pmed me that he would be interested) has a 9 y/o grandson that always pals around, and he's got a couple of teenaged nephews that hang out with him a lot too.

Uncle T: That's exactly what it was in IN, a sell/swap/trade area and a potluck. There was a ton of food, but not too many birds. But it was fun!

Oops, forgot about cowgirl, she has a 2 y/o girl and a girl that I think is 11.

Probably end of September or so, so we have plenty of time to organize??

And prizes are always welcome, 92caddy had donated many hatching eggs, FrChuckW donated some chicken-related items, and there were many more things! So post any ideas you have for this thing here, and I'll work on the location. Anyone else with location ideas is more than welcome to jump on in!
