And I know we'll need canopies or tents here, this place used to be a corn field, so it is almost completely cleared off.
 
I don't now about a day but mid to late sep sounds good.I will ask around for table's and chair's. I might have a canopy In the garge I will check tomorrow nite. I hope we can get this together.I have a few people who do nothing but sell and raise chickens and many other types of poultry that are intersted in coming to it

Oh, we'll get it together all right, one way or another!! Mid September sounds good to me, it's just the actual 'day' that I need input on. Saturday, Sunday, either one is fine with me! Too bad my B-day is on a Monday this year

We definitely need some kind of shelter from the sun, there is no shade whatsoever around here. There are a few young trees in the yard, but all my chickens are in the yard too (free rangers). The only birds by the pond are the ducks and the goose (and some pretty freaky game youngsters that hide out till dark), so they wouldn't be a problem. The goose might come and beg, but the ducks will leave us alone

But that is on a wednesday, so the sat before or after would be cool. He isn't much into the Bday thing, anyway. He already has his Bday present

The Liberty sale last fall was in October, but I'll check into it. Would that guy you know know when it is? Eli, I believe his name is?

Oh and I was remembering the birthday thing, maybe we'll make it a BYC Chickenstock/birthday bash! Too bad this is a dry county.....

There are 2 Saturdays in 'mid' September, the 12th and the 19th. So which do you all think?
I'll have to get the magnet out and find the other two stakes for my canopy, they are buried in the yard somewhere!

I have a metal detector, but with your yard, it'd give me all sorts of noises before we actually found the stakes

It's not all that bad, and I know about where they are, I just can't find them! We have a mower now, so the grass is actually cut for a change!
