I set 5 of my quail eggs yesterday. Being the first ones I don't expect much but I already have the bator running so why not. Both of my hens are laying now ether that or one is laying two a day.

I also have a chicken that is laying a goose egg. I think I am going to have to get her some Preparation H. Wonder if I can get this trait in off spring. I can't even fit these in a jumbo box. I have only seen eggs this big one other time.

I know it is hard to hatch double yokers but if there was a good chance that there off spring would lay like this I would like to try.

I have a question.... Are quail as addicting as chickens? I'm thinking about getting some this weekend and wondered if I should go ahead and get more than I was planning to.

I love my chickens and think these little pharoes are going to be spoiled too.
