I am worried about my silkie roo. He seems to have lost his crow. Its like he has laryngitis. He seems fine, no signs of being sick. What could be wrong?

This has happened to two of my roos, my little mille fluer lost his cockadoodle for a few weeks but now it is slowly coming back to normal, I have no idea why, everyone is healthy.
As long as he does his job of protecting the flock, a blessing in disguise ?
