Entry #3 My cold, cold Silkie roo. When he would crow he sounded like he was saying “woooohoooo”. So my kids named him Woohoo Kazoo. View attachment 4304383
We had maybe a week of heavy snow that brought everything to a standstill, then melted so fast that the ground my chickens live on had several inches of standing water despite being on the side of a hill. Most of the winter has just been wet and windy and grey, but apparently I take a lot of photos when we do get snow because it rarely happens. This would be a more accurate representation of winter here but it doesn't make for a great entryI'm jealous of all the snow everyone has in their pictures! My flock just got some frost bitten combs due to the high winds and extreme cold last monthOther than that it's been very dry.

)About the same amount of snow here. This is how our winter usually looks like.I don't have many more good chicken snow photos though, so might as well call that my entry 3![]()
