"BYC nor the staff are responsible for anything that happens in this auction and will not get involved in the swaps or individual transactions.
BYC strongly encourages all the swap participants to use the existing BSA system to take advantage of the organization and feedback system. This isn't a "requirement" but is a suggestion for a better run swap.

wow...so if the seller decides last minute they want to run the auction another hour last minute cuz they don't want it to end it's ok? I think we need to look up rules similar to ebays auction timing and post it as the 24hr rule...tht would solve this

Ok, let do another one. this is really helping to keep the egg count here down.
This is what I have for auction.
6 Black Jersey Giants...Starting at 3.00
6 EE....( Roo is a White Americana hens are three BCM (not booted) and two Jersey Giants) Stating 3.00
6 Black Copper Marans all booted (jean and davis line) Starting at 7.50
6 Frizzles (rooster is a Barred Frizzle hens are three JG, one white rock, three NN). Starting is 3.00
6 Red Sex Links.....Rooster is a RIR and the Hens are RIW...Starting is 5.00
6 Pekin Duck eggs..................starting is 7.50
Shipping is 12.50 on chicken eggs and 14.00 on the duck. I try to include extras when avail. I will combine shipping at 3.95 for the second, third, ect auction. If you get the duck eggs, the shipping is frist on them then the 3.95.
If anyone lives local, I have over 250 chicks for sale between 2 weeks and about 10 weeks old. The wife said no more hatching right now so that s why they are all for sale. (I did not tell her I just put 300 eggs in the bator. She is starting to ask when they are going to hatch.........opps......what now....)
I also have rabbits if anyone is interested. Flemish Giants, Flemish/NW White cross, and several small breeds.
These are to be shipped out on Monday morning.
I had several PM's on the color of the Marans eggs. Here are two pictures. They are the same eggs just at different angles.
The eggs in the middle are two White leghorns and two Jersey Giants. The single row in front of those eggs are from the Blue's. These pictures should show you the color varaiation I get. Sometimes they are even darker than the darkest in the pictures.

No, this thread is for 24 hour auctions, but as far as down-to-the-minute bids, there is no regulations for that. Most sellers are fair, and will do something similar to what scbatz33 did, if they have enough eggs available though
