Well this is my first attempt at having chickens and for 6 weeks is was going great. Then I lost my white rock and the very next day my lively silver phoenix 1 1/2 years old all of a sudden got real sick normally he would not let you come near him but he just sat there like he was oblivious to everything and let me pick him up in which I took him to a different area my quarantine cage and when I went out to check on hime he was dead! so.. I was worring about that all day and now that I am home again another roo Is starting to get the same symptoms they look like they are keeping their eyes closed. head tucked into their body very sleepy or could be no energy at all. also on the males the comb on the top of their head looks like it has blue or a darker tint to the comb which is falling over to the side. and from when I noticed it on the male 18 hrs later he will not move and if he does it is slow and with alot of effort. also the stool looks like it is white diarrea. also I am going to include a few pics of the stool and the chicken I have them on duramycin-10 antibiotic right now mixed in the water in all pens as it must be contagious either airborne or in the stool but now I got one sick that is 30 ft away. I also bought sulmet which I havent used yet because I didnt want to mix these in the water but at this point I think I am looking at a total loss anyway unless I do something drastic btw I have like 35 chickens 9 different breeds so far three breeds affected.
