You guys are just going to be disgusted as me, let me tell you what happened, I ordered some bantam ducks, I will not call any names so please do not ask me, or put me on the spot, PLEASE, okay, I ordered some bantam ducklings, snowy calls duclings, self blue dulcces bantams, and some self blue bantams, this is the out come of this order



You guys talking ticked It has been many years since I have been this mad, mad enought to take the last dime of savings and go to the state I received these from locate the seller and lord, let me just pray, the vent boxes that you can punch out one or two for oxygen, not one single one was opened and the top sealed with wide scotch plastic tape, I called them up and told them that over half of the ducks were dead on arrival, and abou the box vents, and the seller said Oh, Mrs. Zeagler we are so sorry, and I said since I have picked them up, had there brooder box here on the dryer to temp with a heat lamp, received a email that you had shipped them, set up there food, water, and the works, just sitting awaiting them to get here, and I am 42 yrs old and have bought a many of baby ducklings and raised a many of ducks along with other stuff, but to have what I felt like the person by not opening a vent on the box just straight suffocated them, and then within 15 minutes lost another, then fifteen minutes later the next one was running around in the plastic tote like it had rabbies and flipped over on its back DEAD, then another 15 minutes the next one did the same thing, went to running around twisting its head all kinds of ways shaking it, and jumping like having convulvtions, and flipped over on its back DEAD, well Mrs. Zeagler is there a initial who packaged them, yes and told her, she said, oh this is her 2nd day helping us here on the farm, and she probally didn't realize to open the vent on the box, call us Monday and let us know how many survivors you have and we will replace all the lost ones, WHAT, WHAT THE BLANK, BLANK, OMG, I said words that didn't even go together in profanity, WHAT YOUR GOING TO DO IS THERE IS 3 ducks left out of my order of 32 bantam and snowy ducklings, I paid for these to be sexed and purchased them in TRIO's, and paid for them to be tagged, and there was no tags or markings to tell which was which, and I have no idea what these 3 are that is left if they survive until MONDAY, so what your going to do is replace my entire order without one word about the other 3 little ducks that was not suffocated, LORD YOU GUYS, I have never in my life it took me hours of ranting and raving around here on the farm, I raked my entire 1 acre front yard full of pine straw, rearranged my entire freezer, did all my laundry including stripping the entire beds, cleaned out my refrigertator, oh I have worked the straight stress and madness off and so tired now, I can't be mad or cry no more. THE NERVE

Thats stupid that they didnt inspect the box before it went out especially if it was a new worker!

Yes, this is a disgusting way to ship babies. I feel sick! Poor little ducklings.

I wish I hadn't seen that picture. I would ask for my money back and never put ducklings in danger like that by ordering more from them. It really is disgusting. I hope there is something more you can do to make them pay for such a horrific incident. I'm so sorry for the trama you went though....

Oh Linda, I am so sorry for you and those little darlings. How traumatic!!! I can only imagine the pain for all of you. Sending you and hoping it helps...a little at least.

They acted like it was no big deal though, as if they lose ducklings in shipping all the time. This made me even blank, blank madder when she incenuated basically, it was better because I hadn't bonded with them. So the heart ache shouldn't be as bad, I have cried just as hard as if I had them a life time. These were my special little ducks. They were my Anniversery children from Roy. I have called Steve over the NPIP certificates, and you can bet I am going to make there lives as misserable as those little ducks that were stuck in that dark, cold, lonely box while their little lives ended and never got to know having a parent that would have loved them, adored them, and gave them a kids dream life. Now Roy says it may have not been a oxygen issue, they may have just been weeklings as bantam and calls usually are at hatching, but if you knew this was the quality of your stock, you should not put that duck in jepordy, that is straight cruelty, oh I have sent pictures to the animal humane people also, it is one thing to maybe loose a duck or chick in shipping or even after receiving, but over half in one shipment, come on, NO WAY!!

That's why most reputable call breeders don't ship ducklings.....it's just too risky with bantams.

I tell you all I have just about had enough now, I just got through praying, and said lord, I have always felt you carring me, and have always appreciated you loaning me two of your best angels one on each of my shoulders, and I know I am sinner when my mouth sometimes takes action for my hearts pain, but I don't know if this is my trial or tribulation, or if carma is in a tale spin, but I have had enough for this week!! I get up this morning, we are expecting severe storms, go out to give everyone a little snack and make sure all my kids are warm and dry. I be a blank, blank, blannnketty blank, my Red Crested Pouchard drake is laying there with his feet straight up in the air DEAD!! Now here it is breeding season and I have two hens without a husband, GREAT, JUST GREAT!!!
