I found a Canadian (not sure if it is Canadian) Goose egg at our pond and I need to know what temp I should keep it at
and how long to incubate,
And I really just need some advice, I am incubating it but i don't know how far along it is, I tried candling it but it looks very very young- like 2 day or something- I can't even really see it..

Where was the mom at? Stick it in the incubator if you have one...I don't

know anything about geese eggs, but 99 F is what I would keep it at.

I belive they're illegal to keep..

I didn't see the mom anywhere, I saw her yesterday but she was gone all of last night and today and all the other eggs had hatched but this one looks like its still alive

well yeah, but I have hatched chickens before, I mean I don't know if the others hatched, I never saw the hatchlings with the mom, but they were gone, maybe something ate the others and the mom abandoned the one, I did see a fox over there a few days ago..

it feels cooler in my incubator then the temp says- I turned the heat up a bit- anyway does the time of incubation difer according to the type of goose?
