Yes, you are certainly in our prayers. Thanks for the colorful information on Beulah House and it's former owner... she sounds like she was an enterprising, hard working woman.

How is DH's back holding up? How are you holding up?
We can see how close the water is to the house, but how close to the top of the levee is the water?
Man I hope it all holds together.
Saw on our news this morning that they expected the Mississippi to crest today rather than tomorrow and it would crest at 48 just shy of 1930's record high. I think that is crazy that Beulah house is floating away. I am surprised that it isn't secured to the ground somehow!!! Hope it stays put and water doesn't rise anymore and all your stuff stays safe. Most importantly that you and your family stay safe. Thanks for the pics!
This is amasing! I can't even imagine what you are going thru! You have to stop and wonder how many small creatures are lost during these ki8nd of floods! and it being spring so many birds nesting and animals have babys, Really sad for them as well as the humans.
Well, today is the day. The water will be in the house if I run out to check on it. I'm not sure I will have the time, but will try to make it before going to work. A woman showed me a pic of her FIL standing in thigh deep water in his kitchen just up the river from us. His house was not as high as ours, he'll end up with over 5 feet in his. Thank the Lord for small blessings.
