Yup, what Olive said. fb is easy, unless you have your pics blocked to the public.

I have a fb if anyone wants to add me. I also have a fanpage for my photography

So, I'm getting a little tired of this rain. Rain + dirt = messy, messy mud! The ducks are having a grand time with it, but the chickens are a little ticked off lol.

Then today we made it coop cleaning day. Oh boy, that wasn't fun in the rain and mud either lol.

We made two small dog/chicken houses. They are for sale at $50 or best offer or trade. They are made of all wood with wood slats and metal for roofs so they won't cave in. They're really nice!

All the animals are doing very well. Me, not so much.

I tired of this rain as well, but the forecast for today and tomorrow don't look as if we will have much in the way of sunshine. I'm glad that the ground is predominately sand where I have my birds. Given the amount of rain we've had, and the amount that is still headed our way, I'm sure many area have become lakes. The weather forecast just showed Howell cover with green and lots of yellow and red headed our way and due to be here in a little while.

Yesterday, during one of our brief respites, I was taking pole bean vines off of the garden fence. As a deterent for deer I added a hot wire about 4' from the ground to the system that protects my flock. I rarely disconnect the power when entering my chicken run since the rubber soles of my boots keep me from grounding out. However, with the grass being so wet the leather of my boots soon became soaked through and it wasn't long before I was reminded that the electric fence system was working. I can see why it is so effective in keeping predators at bay.

sorry your not doing well Keyt, maybe you over did it? I know when my daughter does to much during the week she is sick all weekend. She has RS. (it's a pain disorder) I know it isn't what you have but I understand , how some days are just really bad. .... Hope it gets better and you are able to get some sleep

I still have 4 girls that REFUSE to squat but when they do I will be soooo excited!

Speaking of feeling better. I hope I feel better....I came back from California with what i thought was my allergies acting up. Nope. Good old fashioned cold.

I feel more lively this morning but not 100%. It's so dark in the morning.....I guess I'll have some hot tea as i watch the sun rise.

My sweet little silkie attacked my hand yesterday. I went to see how many eggs she had underneath her and she told me where to stick it basically. She bit me! I guess I know better next time.
