Putting the roof on was a pain in the butt because I wanted the front to overhang by a foot. I'm glad I fought for it thought because it's a nice cover when it's raining.

This is the shed we originally planned to use for the coop... but after digging the old owners crap out of it we found it to be falling apart and not really functional for our purposes. It got torn down and the new coop built on the same location.

DIY Coop we designed and built for our mixed flock of 10 birds. Started with five but chicken math set in early. Made it a shed style building so it would be useful for future homeowners too. Building is 6x8 and right now feeds to a small 6x8 foot enclosed run. Most of the time our flock free ranges.
