Most of the carpentry is finished on the chicken side. I still need to build the nesting boxes.. still working on the design for a roll out system that is retrievable from the human side and doesn't protrude out into the room.

I used my router to make a dado on each 2x3 so they would remain at the same level. Worked out well, nice tight fit.

2x3 df for the roosts. I ran a 1/4" router bit over every surface their feet may come into contact with. Then I sanded them smooth.
