I noticed my rooster's eye has a white mass. We have other roosters and thought he had lost it but it's still there but there is some sort of white mass.
Any ideas what this might be and how to treat?
Thank you.
Oh boy, water belly is a new one to me. She seems a bit better today and a little less swollen. I ordered some aregano oil and eyebright oil after some reading on the subject. Any recommendations on what to do?
Thanks.
This past Sunday we noticed one of our Rhode Island Reds was not moving from her perch. She had a seriously poopy butt and a swollen squishy belly and green diarrhea.

Unfortunately, my vet hasn't responded.
I have read I can use API General Cure for 5 days that is available at the pet store.
He weighs about 2.5 lbs. What would the dose be?
Or can I use it in a waterer?
Thanks.

Thanks.
I was able to take some pics this morning. He has yellow stuff caked around his nostrils and does have stuff on the roof of his mouth.
The entire flock has been recently dewormed.
My vet has been MIA and that is why I am trying to treat myself. Not to mention the expense.
Any help is greatly...
Hi all,
One of my silky roosters has not been doing well. His breathing is gurgly and had a white mucus in his mouth which smelled really bad.
Have been trying vet rx and some vitamin water but still not looking well.
The white mucus seems to be gone but the smell and gurgly is still there...
We have tried rehoming but no luck but we will continue to try.
The fights do get pretty bloody so I was thinking blunt tips will do less damage then sharp tips.

I have a flock of 14 hens and have too many (8) roosters. They get along for the most part but occasionally they will fight but get over it.
The only issue I have with them working it out are eye injuries. I've had 2 get eye...
