I am currently using the incubator warehouse digital thermostat and lately it's been all over the place with its temp readings so I'm going to replace it. What would be a great replacement thermostat and also a thermometer and hygrometer
thanks for the link to calibrate the hygrometer. I tested my analog thermometer using the ice water test and it tested perfectly so my combination thermometer/hygrometer doesn't read the temp correctly. Ill let you guys know in 21 if I had any luck or not. Thanks for your help
Does anyone know how accurate the incubator warehouse IncuTherm thermometer/hygrometer is. Both my digital thermostat and analog dial thermometer read the same temp but the IncuTherm reads 3 degrees higher than the others do. which one should I trust. Also whats the best if the one I have can't...
Thanks for the help with the vent hole placement. I added another fan at the top in the front blowing downward but not directly on the eggs. Now both top and bottom have the same temp and I only have a .9* differential when the thermostat cuts off and when it starts heating again. before I added...
I will.hopefully be incubating chicken, duck and turkey eggs. Once I get the kinks worked out and have a successful hatching I'll share the plans and specs for whoever wants to make one like it
I have another fan I'll add later today. What after I figure out the temp variation what do you recommend as far as fresh air vents. Where do you typically add your fresh air supplies and vents
As of now I have no ventilation holes and the fan is located in the top blowing towards the front across the heating element. How many ventilation holes should I have, where should they be and what size is recommend
The element is in the top approximately 2" in front of the fan. I'm using the thermostat from incubator warehouse that I've seen a lot of people on here use. I can't figure out if I need a higher wattage element or perhaps a different fan. Also how can I tell if I have static pressure in the...
