My guinea got caught in a coyote trap. Compound fracture, hanging by a little bit of skin and flesh. I splinted and bandaged in hopes of saving the leg. Changed the bandages tonight and I'm pretty sure the leg isn't salvageable. Vet isn't an option, but I'm going to call around tomorrow...

We are in the high Nevada desert.

I rescued this goose (gander?) from a local lake where the geese and ducks are starving. We got all the living geese and all but two of the ducks. The domestic ones anyway. They are all being fed as much as they can eat and being treated for pneumonia.
