    FERMENTED FEEDS...anyone using them?

    So can you use any feed type even if it contains pellets? Just equal parts water and some apple cidar vinagar? I had tried with only water and the smell didn't seem right.. it smelt off I think?

    Hello fellow Aussies! I purchased some new chickens on the weekend, one of them is missing quite a lot of the feathers on tail and bum, and wing from others picking them out. She's about 16 weeks. What can you recommend to help grow them back quickly?

    Thankyou! I will think of another way to make one big roost, My cages are only temporary if every one can survive the summer I will invest in a nice big house for them

    I would say 99% snake proof, one could always get inside during the day, but we check every night. The cages are small brown one 3.6 feet x 2 feet Metal one 4.9 feet long x 2 feet wide metal one is 5.2 foot high. Does this sound big enough for 3 hens and a rooster? Also I'm in Australia so...

    Thanks everyone so much! I'm trying the little door option they know it's there but aren't really using it I'm doing supervised play dates and all is going well, They are being picked on a little bit they are still letting them eat. The rooster even gave them some treats! ( he's a very gentle boy)
