We start breeding at 5 months. It takes about 70% of the time. We breed at 6 months too and get 95% success outta 1st timers.
Because they're NZs we like them at a 7lb-ish weight at breeding virgins. Seem to get the best success waiting for the weight. Sometimes that weight happens by 5 months...
