Hi. I have coyate around my house. And I know they come rather close to the yard, or are way in the back. You can hear them howling at night. How would I got upon builing a coop coyatie proof? Are there anyways to deter them?
Hey. I'm making a home made styrofoam incubator and I'm wondering if its okay not to have a fan in it?
Also am I going to want to poke holes in the side that can be filled to adjust heat?
And lastly can anyone direct me to good instructions to make a simple egg turner?
Thanks,
Thanks. I'm thinking I want a coop off the ground, with a run I could walk in and that the run would also go under the coop. I'm thinking I might go with nest boxes on the out side with flap so I can collect them from the outside. How big for about ten hens? Square feet wise?
Nice coops.
Would it be better to have a run with a roof on it?
I love your quails and there cages. Looks neat... What are quail kept for? lol
What kind of window could i add to the coop thats insulated?
I'm possibly going to be building a coop in the spring and I want to see some coops so I can get some ideas! So post your coops!
Also what would you do to make a great coop? Any tips to make mangement easier?
And what would you like to avoid when making a coop?
Thanks!
Mmmm Okay. What kind of mess? Like a splashy water mess? Cause I am going to use a chick waterer. And then give them seperate time in a pool. Or I could try to seperate brooders? Like seperate by hardware cloth or something? hmmm. If I keep it clean like cleaning multiply times a day could it work?
Hey! I was reading up on incubating duck eggs from chicken eggs. I did all the research for chicken eggs cause I am going to be incubating some only to find out that you need to do it differently. So it looks like I'm doing two different batches. hehehe
So how do I differently incubate duck...
