    No fan in incubator?

Hey. I'm making a home made styrofoam incubator and I'm wondering if its okay not to have a fan in it? Also am I going to want to poke holes in the side that can be filled to adjust heat? And lastly can anyone direct me to good instructions to make a simple egg turner? Thanks,

Show me your coops! I need ideas!

Thanks. I'm thinking I want a coop off the ground, with a run I could walk in and that the run would also go under the coop. I'm thinking I might go with nest boxes on the out side with flap so I can collect them from the outside. How big for about ten hens? Square feet wise?

What do you do differently when incubating duck eggs?

Mmmm Okay. What kind of mess? Like a splashy water mess? Cause I am going to use a chick waterer. And then give them seperate time in a pool. Or I could try to seperate brooders? Like seperate by hardware cloth or something? hmmm. If I keep it clean like cleaning multiply times a day could it work?
