I'm in Oregon and it just started really raining. I'm new to chickens and my feeder is keeping the feed inside dry because I have a big piece of slate rock sitting on top of it, but the feed on the bottom of the feeder is getting wet which in turn is clogging it up.... Suggestions please!
Hey all! I bought two four month old Brahman hens yesterday and I have ten five week old chicks... Buffs, Marans and Ameracaunas. Can I put them in with my Brahman hens? Someone said I could because the hens are so docile. What do you all think?!? Thanks!
Ok guys since I'm new to chickens how warm does my coop need to be at night. I'm in Oregon so it gets into the high fifties low sixties during the fall. My coop has side flaps on it that I've kept open to circulate air during the summer. What do you guys think!?
