I have no input about the cold eggs. I had eggs shipped, I had 15 in the incubator and only got 3 hatched :/ So I feel you.

I bought another one for $80 but it wasn't very good & could only hold about 9 eggs.

I appreciate this post a lot, I wasn't sure if it was TSC employees, the brooders or what. I like that you could respectfully give your opinion :) I noticed when I went to my TSC that the chick days were over.. I can't wait to see what happens next spring :)

I have two little guys around a week old. there is one that will literally already charge me lol. I'm hoping I got at least one hen! The other is much less assertive. I know it's too soon to tell but just thought I would throw that in lol

I'm not going to be any help.. I bought 4 at TSC because That's the minimum, I lost 2 :( So I'm down to 2. I have been reading everywhere because I felt so awful.. But sometimes I guess you just lose some chicks, heartbreaking though.

Are Dorkings good pet chickens? how are they as layers? I have two silkie babies right now and some silkie eggs to hatch on the way so I am learning. :) Dorkings are beautiful birds though!
