    What are the chances?

I have no input about the cold eggs. I had eggs shipped, I had 15 in the incubator and only got 3 hatched :/ So I feel you.

    Newbie to incubating shipped eggs..

Hey guys. Okay so I got 14 (shipped) silkie eggs yesterday, I let them rest for 12 hours and I put them in the incubator with egg turner. Now I am seeing that I should not run the turner (which I already did over night) I have now unplugged it.. How much did I screw up? I'm hoping I'll still...

I need help picking out an incubator

I purchased one for $80 off of Amazon.. It's getting returned. I ended up with 15 eggs (ordered 12, got about 20 and 5 were cracked) and the magicfly off amazon only held 9, So I put them all in that one and went and bought the Nurture 360. I love it so far! It's in Fahrenheit which is a HUGE...

Tractor Supply Chicks Not Being Taken Care Of

I appreciate this post a lot, I wasn't sure if it was TSC employees, the brooders or what. I like that you could respectfully give your opinion :) I noticed when I went to my TSC that the chick days were over.. I can't wait to see what happens next spring :)

I have two little guys around a week old. there is one that will literally already charge me lol. I'm hoping I got at least one hen! The other is much less assertive. I know it's too soon to tell but just thought I would throw that in lol

Tractor Supply Chicks Not Being Taken Care Of

same here I only buy my chicks from TSC because #1 I was impatient and that's on me. I'll get them shipped from Hatcheries from now on. But my #2 reason is my local other feed store is WORSE than TSC.. It smells, the animals aren't taken care of.. And one time they almost forced my 10 year old...

    TSC baby not doing well

This is my first year doing chickens, I lived in California before this in a mobile home park so I didn't really have the opportunity and I don't know much different. Those brooders didn't look good.. I personally wanted some different chicks but the guy couldn't get at them so basically gave me...

    TSC baby not doing well

I'm not going to be any help.. I bought 4 at TSC because That's the minimum, I lost 2 :( So I'm down to 2. I have been reading everywhere because I felt so awful.. But sometimes I guess you just lose some chicks, heartbreaking though.
