    Thinking of building an outdoor roost for guineas and some game hens. Thought about a raised roost with metal poles do keep climbers out. I have had a couple in a tree that are doing fine but I know they are not safe by anymeans.

    If running 120 power is not an option I woud do the same thing (with 12 volt bulbs, no inverter) the off the grid guys do.     Steel framed tractor?

    Think I am going to build a tractor out of steel tubing to be lighter and easier to move than wood. Figure I could anchor it with dog tie outs or something of the sort. Any input, ideas? I am a much better welder than carpenter so it makes ever more sense to me.

    The pump is 150 yards away but the holding tank is in there. I am thinking more about moving the pen further back in the yard to keep from having to try and make it too pretty. Too many options I guess. I seldom get wild fowl. When I have they did not stick around long.
