    Hi All. Wondering if there are laws that pertain to my family taking our flock of 7 hens outside of NYS when we move back to Texas. Anything preventing me from loading them up and taking them with us when we hit the road? Any tips/tricks for moving a small flock like that? Thanks!

    how well are your chickens laying?

    7 mixed breed brown egg layers are consistently laying 3-4 per day, straight through cold, wind, sleet, snow and freezing rain. Coldest night so far was -15F so i think they will probably do just fine the rest of the winter.
