    Help me ID this water bird

    Awesome, thanks a bunch,rodriguezpoultry I'm trying to keep a list of different migrating birds I come across this year. I've seen some coots here but they were way smaller than this one. I had no idea they didn't have webbed feet. Appreciate your help, Miram

    high wind advisories and chickens?

    The winds here have been up here in Louisiana, one thing I notice is my chickens stay close to cover. I tired to take them to open pasture & they wouldn't go. Predator birds can make an easy catch with all the leaves falling & trees constantly moving about.
