My neighbor has a chicken who has been like this for two months. She seems to be bullied by one other hen. I hadn't heard that she has any other incident but when she is brought out will only stay for 5 minutes or so then back in her next box. First thought she was ill but now just seems...

Let me know when you find out. We are trying to put different grasses and barley and such in our yard. Planted some pine trees since that is what the neighbor has that they like so much. Making it interesting at home. Did this for my cats and it worked fairly well.

Three new Aracaunas, finally!

I would like to hatch some eggs but don't really know how yet. Will a hen who likes to sit on them hatch them perhaps? My girls tend to warm each others eggs.

Almost all of our coop was made from craps we found around town. My favorite part is the gate, it is made from a late 1800s twin sized headboard. Heavy metal. :)
