    Drop in egg productivity

    Hi there. I have some coturnix quail and I usually get about 7 eggs per day from my flock. The last couple days I've only been getting 3 or 4. Why was there a sudden drop in eggs laid and what can I do to get them back up to where they were before? I haven't started anything new. Same as usual.

    Incubating a variety of eggs

    Hi there. I have everything from quail eggs to duck eggs I would like to incubate and I was just wondering if it's best to put them all in at the same time and let them hatch whenever or to stagger them putting duck eggs in first and quail last to try to achieve the same hatch day.

    The one might have flown up and hit it's head but the one that had its neck turned around I could still move his head and he didn't seem to be in any pain from it and it didn't feel broken. Just more of a muscle thing I think. Like wry.

    Mixed feed. Sprouted grains and seeds plus chicken scratch and sometimes laying mash. I give them any eggs that crack and I bake and crush up shells to make sure they get lots of protein and calcium. Not sure how old they are. They were rescues.

    Natural quail feed

    Hi there. I'm interested in making my own quail feed. I was just wondering what I should feed them. I've started feeding them sprouted grains and they seem to like those but I would like to make sure they're getting enough protein and calcium to produce lots of strong eggs.
