Hi everyone! I’ve been candling my eggs and I’m trying to figure out which ones are viable. I’ve taken some photos and would really appreciate any advice or insights from experienced hatchers.
Here’s what I’m hoping to get feedback on:
Which eggs look like they’re developing normally
Which...
yea i think it depends on how to roosters where treated when they were young i fidn that ones treated well typically are nice but theres always differet personalities for each bird
so i was doing some research about what happens when buff is crossed with gold laced and it usually looks like this will my 2 birds produce similar results. please let me know how close or far off i am.
the first 3 photos are of crosses i found from facebook.
and the other 2 are my birds
nothing seems to be wrong some birds just take longer that 5-6 months is the average age for starting but it still varies from bird to bird. like my cochins didnt start laying until 8 months.
My speckled sussex roseighlea is the sweetest girl this is her falling asleep today when I decided to see if I could swaddle her with my flannel that's soft on the inside and and she was fell asleep
Not yet unfortunately I think my buff orpington is broody rn tho she decided to sleep in the nesting box today and she growled at me but I never know bc they growl when they are laying eggs
