Im very sorry to say that the vet called..the infection from the seed had eaten into his brain...He died in surgery..It is quite heatabreaking,...He was a lovely rooster and chook...thanks for all your support, and people if a chook does get this, make them get checked out straight away, to stop...

Okay hes at the vet....He has an absense...and it needs to be drained....Any one with the same problem...Get them to a vet...As if not, you may get rid of the pus..But the scratch...grass seed is still there, making it more infected

I took her too the vet, as I was taking another animal..She was given antioboitics and pain relief.

I believe you have a more sinister threat...Maybe a gang or raccoons, to break that much...Also something, like a wild dog, who kill for fun. Hope you catch something----(ps.Further info for My chook please...I know ishoundn't be posting that here, but im desperate)
