I did find mites on one roo and lice on the other. Go figure! Tis the season. They are Bantams so i dunked them in permethrin and i will follow-up with Ivermectin in a few days if necessary and then play by ear after.

Yes, that’s what I thought when I purchased the eggs. I have pure Ameraucana too and these chicks are soo egg-aggerated with their beard and myff, I just wanted to make sure. I have an EE flock separate from my pure breeds, so I might keep one or two in my color-layer flock.

3 Hatched with no issue! I have 4 total that made it to lockdown and the one that hasn’t hatched had a detached air cell instead of a saddled. I’m going to give it a few more days. Fingers crossed 🤞
