Is she only sneezing after/during drinking? They do that to clear their nostrils and sometimes water comes out for a while.
If she’s doing it all the time she could be getting sick, but ducks are typically really hardy and resistant to illness in my experience.
Best of luck!
I couldn’t find anything on Google for what it would look like, but you can search this website and they have a link for sort of a genetics/color calculator. I have a lot of silkie crosses here at my place, but none with a cinnamon queen. If you want to see any pics let me know :D
Sorry to hear it! One of my girls was recently attacked by something and lost some skin also. She’s recovering quite nicely. I recommend letting them heal if it’s not too expensive for you, they can come back from some pretty bad injuries. Here’s a picture of my girl when she got attacked, she’s...
My girls took a short break from laying when I added my roosters to the flock. I think it’s because they were working to establish pecking order and getting used to their new activities haha! However they did resume shortly after, maybe a week or so but I don’t recall exactly.
First he cleaned the corners of her mouth really well with warm water, then he pushed up and in to put the jaw back. It worked so well I can’t even tell which chicken it was anymore. :D
Thank you! I wish it was a bit more fancy but it does the job haha! I would say you could free range/yard them if you fence an area. The more room the better! If you have hawks though you may want to net a roof for them.
Personally, I never wash any of mine, I pick off the big pieces and just hatch them. I also regularly smell check my incubator. So far I’ve only took out two stinkers of the hundreds I’ve hatched.
I have one now that holds 49 I think, and it’s typically full lol. I’d like one that holds around 100ish. I really like the looks of those ones you’ve got, I would just need to figure out a hatcher.
