Jaw injury on a chick

On the pain killers from the vet, were they for poultry? Or for cats? Or dogs? If it says "...caine" anywhere on the label, do not give to chickens. Aspirin is a far safer alternative and it will reduce inflammation faster.

This stuff was prescribed for my duckling at the avian vet when he dislocated his hip.

First he cleaned the corners of her mouth really well with warm water, then he pushed up and in to put the jaw back. It worked so well I can’t even tell which chicken it was anymore.
