I do wildlife rehab and have released raccoons, skunks and opposums on my property. If your coop is secure, you won't have to worry about all of these things. The only problem I have is the fox when he comes during the day.

I've gotten to the point of just letting my ducks hatch their eggs. I have a brinsea incubator and a sportsman and I only get about a 50% hatch rate. The ducks do much better.

I would bring 2 of the chicks in so this one has company and if it passes the other 2 will be fine with each other if mom won't take them back. I would wrap her with vet wrap. I don't think the wing that bends the wrong way will ever heal correctly though.

I also had a silkie hatch out two Dutch bantams last month. Good thing I have a heated room in my shed just for my Dutch or she'd be in my house with them.

The new year is starting out pretty good. I found a wonderful home for one of my roosters yesterday. Only 8 more to go. Lol. I wish the poultry processor was open this time of year.
