    Young rooster crow - voice change?

    So I have a young OEGB about 3 months old, he has been crowing for over a month this funny awful screech sounding crow- do roo's go through a "voice" change when they mature? I just cant imagine that his crow will continue to be such a screeching sound.

    You think thats weird.. while I was gone my husband called to tell me that a cardinal got in our enclosed run and the chickens killed it and where doing the whole chase thing trying to eat it!!! I cant believe they would eat another bird!

    Hey Carol I was just thinking of that very same question myself - plus do the roosters need to be seperated from each other? I think I have 20 roo's and 12 pullets. I'm sure someone out there has an answer for us !
