    Silkie rooster with chicks

    I bought a silkie rooster today from a girl in my hometown. He came when 6 chicks that aren’t his but he’s been around a lot. Well he’s letting the chicks which are about 2 months old sleep under him. He’s keeping them warm. Is this normal? Or do I just have a sweet rooster?

    Me and my wife bought this girl last week from a man in town who says it's a black Orpington. I'm not sure if it's that or an australorp. I've searched the Internet and still have nothing conclusive. Please help!! Thanks .

    Male or female white leghorn??

    They are only two weeks old. I bought them at tractor supply and they had some Cornish cross chicks there. I guess it's possible one slipped in. This bird has so much meat on it I can see that. Just have never had one.

    Rhode Island Red with pasty butt

    I have an 9 week old Rhode Island Red pullet that has had pasty butt since I brought her home. It's so bad her tail feathers haven't grown.. I clean it off and add Vaseline. But it's nit any better for her. Is there anything else I can do???

    I bought these white leghorns at the same time. And they're the same age. Why is this one almost twice the size of the others? Is it a rooster? Or is something wrong with it causing it so be so big??

    I got it at our feed store in town. It just came with the starter for the pullets I bought. He called them "mystery chickens" because you can get anything. I truly have no clue what it is besides ugly lol
