Thanks donrae. I posted the same question in another group and getting mixed answers. Some agree with you and others are saying first generation will be white eggs they are saying I won't get colored eggs until 2nd generation and they will be sexlink.

Sorry I couldn't find anywhere else to post this question. I have white leghorn hens and getting a Easter egger roo. My question is if i put the EE roo with the leghorn hens will they still lay white eggs or will i get colored eggs?

Thanks R2elk. All my turkeys were supposedly hatched last spring. 1 tom 3 hens. Maybe they are just late bloomers lol.

ok so i just found out my turkeys may not be getting enough protein to lay. they are getting about 22% best i can find right now. any suggestions on what i can give them for more protein?

Hi everyone I hope im in the right place for this question. Im fairly new to chickens could someone please tell me what is going on with this chicken? I thought she was about to lay or maybe egg bound but the spot is soft not hard.

I just went out to check for eggs from chickens and turkeys both and I have a royal palm hen yelping excessively. More than normal. I bet she yelped for 2 minutes straight without taking a breath lol.
