    Ive got an 2 yr old ISA Brown gone broody. I dont have a rooster , & I dont need chicks right now. So how do I stop this . Or should I just let her do her thing. That golf ball aint never gonna hatch.

    Awesome. We scooped of most of the fat then used the geleton ,added some meat, veggies , & water. let simmer for a bit, then added some dumplings. It was pretty awesome, The kids loved it. Glad to hear its healthy. Thanks for the info folks.

    Winter eggs

    My hens dont get to free range like they did before the snow . So their eating mostly feed. Their eggs change a bit. the yolks werent as dark.
