    Very small silkie

I have a tiny little Cochin roo, but you can't tell him that. I had to seperate him from my main flock because he would pick fights with all my other roos (even my rather large cochin, who is roughly 4 times the little guy's size). The little feler is only about 6-8in. tall. His name is Elvis.

    A choice between two chickens...

I'm getting ready to do a scholarship for my 4-H poultry club and I'm deciding between 2 breeds. These chickens are going to be shown, and not put with my home flock, if that makes a difference. The two breeds I've narrowed it down to are Buff Brahma Bantams and Bearded d'Anvers Bantams (not...

Quote: When I brought him in I checked him for mites, and he's never been wormed. I just re-checked him and he doesn't appear to have mites.

Sick droopy Buff roo. UPDATE!!! GOOD NEWS!!!

Quote: Sure About... 3-5 years. About a year. His usual home is in my chicken coop, but right now he's in my living room so he can keep warm. He eats crack corn and he freeranges. Does that help?
