Hi I am a newbie duck hatcher and owner ... I noticed when my only duckling hatched.... Where it's privates should be were sore and scabbed.... I've left the scab to fall off on its own but now it still looks wrong... Anyone know what it is? -

how long before duckling can walk? She was just born a few hours ago.
I'm going through the same thing now.... Only 1 survived and I had to help out the egg as he was stuck....born 12:30 am but still not walking around really... Walks a little then slumps down and sleeps...first time too -

My only surviving duckling hatched at half 12 this morning.... He is dry but looks greasy .... And he's stumbling around.... But I'm not sure when to move him to more comfortable digs with a heat lamp... Please help as I'm reading all different comments .... -

Decided to get some call/runner ducks for my little ones to watch and grow, now I'm on day 19 and I have some eggs that are clear and others that are dark... Do I take out the clear ones??? The dark ones are dark as I can't see inside...(told you I was a newbie) clear ones feel heavy but can't... -
