    Ladies not eating as much

Up till now we've had few problems. Out of 5 chickens 2 are laying, they are safe and look healthy. This last week though they are not eating as much? We still get 1 or 2 eggs a day though. I did get layer pellets when the eggs came but also have the old food mixed in. They will eat grass and...

    Any roosters?

We've already found a new home for one rooster we had. We cant have roosters within city limits. These ladies I hope are now about 12 weeks old. These 2 in particular I'm worried about.

    Any ideas here on breed?

Thanks for the replies. Not really sure where they came from my daughter bought them from school ffA. I was pretty sure they were a mix of some kind. What color eggs would guess? My wife is really looking forward to trying the blue/green eggs.

    Any ideas here on breed?

Here's another couple pics now that they're a bit older. The grey one has a slow growing redder comb is that for sure a roo? Does the white have some polish in it? these ladies are about 8 weeks.

    "Morning Kisses"

Thanks, I tinker with photography as a hobby. I had just finished mowing the grass, they didn't like that, but when I raked up some fresh clippings and put them in the run they loved it.

    We have ramp success!

Put the girls in their new home last Sunday. We left them in there till 330pm and opened the door on monday. They eventually came out by gracefully falling/flying (lol). We are leaving the food in the coop with water both in the run and coop. At dusk we placed them one by one on the ramp and...

What breed do we have? One roo?

I'm not sure. I'll have my daughter ask. I thought that one was a roo. It's my youngest ones. She 4y/o. She will be heart broken when I tell her we can't keep it. I'll have to let her pick another one out. The school have another batch of some black ones now.

These girls (I hope) are about 5-6 weeks old. Purchased from my daughters FFA class. We have six total but I believe four different breeds. See if you can help me out to I can read about them. 1. All white seems to be the outcast, not a leader. 2. We have 2 of these. More black than...
