    .. i'm grossed out.

    I clean them out with anti bacterial soap, wait for it to dry, and then clean it again. See, the first time i had sticky chicks, which was from too little humidity, this time I upped it and i drowned them. I'm starting to think i'm really bad at hatching.

    It's a LG still air. All my chicks hatch properly in the other still air incubator, and I always just fill the bottom and have no problem with this. This one the water seems to be leaking or disappearing all the time. I have to fill it up too much. I looked in the incubator earlier and he died...

    I had two chicks hatch out of my own eggs on day 24, which was yesterday. I keep finding fully formed dead babies in the eggs, but that's not the worst. The second chick hatched out [i didnt help him at all] he didn't fluff up and he had some of his insides on the outside? Why would he hatch...

    Can I do this?

    I wouldn't recommend it. Waterfowl need higher humidity, plus some people mist their duck eggs while they're in the incubator.

    We've got one more chick from the three eggs. :o They're miracle babies! I've also got two pips in my own eggs, and i never do good with them. My eggs always seem to die right before hatch or pip and die.

    I keep my LGs in my closet. I set them up on the boxes and it keeps the temps so much easier in there. Good luck.

    This is what the package looked like when I received the eggs, if you haven't seen it yet. Out of three eggs that 'survived', he's the only one who's hatched so far. One other looks good, so i'm crossing my fingers. Welcome to the world, little one. :].

    It is really disgusting. My LG never recovered from that one, the foam isn't as white anymore inside. :[. Look at it this way, it gave me the push to learn how to candle. Haha.
