    Just wondering if hens know enough to not overheat in the sun. I have a hen sunbathing/dirtbathing in the sun and she is panting while doing! The others were there but have sought shade already! Will she leave on her own?

    Thanks! I have four Big Girls and four Littles... the Bigs free range in the yard all day and their are two coops ... one for bigs and one for littles... this is my first attempt at integrating new ones... it’s not easy! The pecking order thing is real!!!
