    not sure were to ask this , but does anybody no what needs to be done to qualify for a farm . i have been looking for regulations but havent found any . not sure who to even contact . i am in maine with 60 hens and meat birds. and does it help any way if u are a farm? thanks

    i just put my 10 week olds in new run area . made 2 temp. houses 4by 4 in size . i go out tonite and they are all outside laying in one big pile . supposed to rain tommorow hope they go inside . will they go in i hope . also i dont have any roost for them do they need it or not ??

    i just recieved my order from ideal . came with 13 barred rock "Males for warmth ". i want to fatten them up for slaughter latter . i have been feeding them broiler crumbles . will they even be worth doing ? when should i slaughter? i really didnt want any roos , my 30 hens are enough .

    cardboard wont hurt my girls right ? been very cold heat lamp just not doing trick . coop is cement block building 10 by 10 . i got some 1/2 inch thick packing cardboard . going to glue to walls and ceilings ,... have 18 girls getting 12 eggs a day .
