    Cornish ok to eat?

Yes:weee One chicken is not worth getting sick over. I used to work at an egg farm when I was younger. The chickens there were forced to lay eggs 24/7. We would scrape the poo up with a Bobcat and mix it with oyster shell and a little feed at the on site mill. Add some steroids and meds...

    Cornish ok to eat?

It's burning right now. I don't want to take a chance on one chicken. This bird was so lethargic that it did'nt even make a fuss when I put it in the cone. That decided it for me.

Cat Litter to keep the Smell Down?

I use pine shavings now, but wondered if the birds would eat the clay based litter. Its not very expensive, and might help with the smell. I can't put them in a tractor because of limited space and a nosey neighbor. The one's that do know are ok with them. The one that doesn't is a royal...

Cat Litter to keep the Smell Down?

I am curious if anyone has used cat litter in thier meatie pens to keep the flies and smell down? I heard that the plain clay litter can be used for the chicks, but what about 4 week old birds. We have the cornish stinky ones. I was thinking it would be a cheap way to keep the neighbors happy.

Hi All, This chick was sent with my meat birds and my Daughter has fallen in love with it. Any guess as to the breed and gender? He/She is 2 weeks old. I picked up 2 New Hampshire Red Hens today for company, but it cried forever to go back with the meat birds. It is happier with them and...
