I couldn't find any signs of eggs and the bug is Grey in color. They aren't black or red or like tiny dots at all. I feel like I've looked at hundreds of pics of mites/fleas/ticks and I just can't find anything that looks quite like it except for that pic I posted but I know that is hard to see...
So I did some serious searching in the coop today and found tons of Tiny bugs that look like this. I couldn't get a good picture but I found someone posted this before and it's what I've got.. only no one replied to the thread so idk what they are. I did find some on my one chicken too. Any clue...
Curious for those that have used the kebbonix incubator what your hatch rates are like? I've hatched twice and only had 2 hatch successfully both times. Super frustrating bc the second hatch I had all eggs developing til about day 12 or so then all but 2 died. I have a hygrometer/thermometer...
They all molted last fall. And have fresh clean food and water all the time. I started them on layer fee daround 25 weeks I believe. They have clean bedding too. There's not really any place for them to hide eggs from me😕 my roo was being kinda hard on them but we rehomed him a couple weeks ago...

Okay, I'm sure these aren't nutritionally deficient feeds. No hidden nests and they all molted last fall. Nothing new that I can figure out and they're totally protected from predators.
They molted in the fall and then pretty much laid all winter. Not daily but atleast few times a week. I did notice the one had laid some eggs without shells after the switch so thought they needed more calcium but then she stopped laying all together. And another one had really large eggs...
I have 4 hens that just turned 2. All of them were laying daily. I had switched them to a locally produced feed but then switched them to a "feather fixer" higher protein layer crumble because My rooster is hard on them. Well needless to say after the switch all but one stopped laying. Then 1...
