    Bunch of broody girls!!

I have never seen so many broody hens and I’m at a loss on what to do? Literally more than half my flock in both coops have been sitting. They act paralyzed when I take them out of the coop. I know how I handled this in the past, I always took them out and put them somewhere they can’t lay on...

    Help! Surprise baby chicks

When we went out to the coops this morning, we were surprised by baby chicks:loveOne of them was sadly not alive but the other seems to be thriving. Sneaky hen must’ve been hiding her eggs!:idunno I’ve owned chickens for quite some time and raised them all from a few days old but never hatched...

    Help please!

We tried the best we could, I was with her in the garage until 2:30 in the morning. I was scared she was going to have too much trauma and go into shock if we continued.... got like 80-90 percent out and then put triple antibiotic on. She seems ok this morning... should I start attempting to get...

    Help please!

Thank you so much everyone!! I tried getting it out earlier but it feels like there is cartilage or something that’s stopping it from coming out. I’m going to try again now, hopefully I broke it up enough earlier that it will come out easier. Will keep everyone updated.

    Help please!

Help!! Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to do? My hens eye had what appeared to be spit in it a few months ago. She has been eating and drinking as well as acting normal. It started to look like an abscess, I’ve been using the microbial vet RX and gave her the drops as well...

    Opinions on this rescue baby!!

My friend brought me a chick today that her dog apparently left on the door step. Thankfully I have full faith that this sweet baby will recover just fine, lots of bald spots and a small scratch under the eye. But the shock has seem to wore off:celebrate anywho, I was thinking maybe mottled Java...

    Any Roos?

I’ll get better pictures in the morning!! The first one of these was taken a little while back and the second one was taken the same day as the originals. Bc this is baby that is a complete mystery and we don’t have any idea how we ended up with 5 blrw (other than a mix up)‍♀️

    Babies!!!

Any tips for trimming their feathers? I’ve been thinking about this with my silver polish, especially my “Fancy Boy” he is so sweet and I feel bad bc he gets excited when he hears my voice but struggles to see me :barnie

    Babies!!!

Love the name!! How’s her temperament? They are undeniably a beautiful breed!! And yes, we will most likely be separating as we have 4 other bantams that are still fairly young for them to “hang” with
